Sanggar Seroja

Founded in 2012 with the initial name of Teater Manekin, Sanggar Seroja is a group of trans women who love the arts that has held several theater performances at several campus festivals and cultural activities. The name Teater Manekin changed to Sanggar Seroja on October 20, 2016. Seroja is taken from the name of the lotus flower. Taking the philosophy of the seroja flower (lotus) which is able to bloom beautifully in a mud puddle, Sanggar Seroja is engaged in the arts in the fields of theater, lenong, monologues, and dance despite receiving many insults, stigmas, and discrimination.
