Founded in 2012, WESTWEW is a music collective that has developed into a record company and talent management that focuses on the hip-hop and RnB music segment in the Indonesian music industry. WESTWEW started from a network of friends who have interests in the same field: content production, audiovisual, and collaborative work. To accommodate and empower the space, WESTWEW also founded WESTWEW Coffee, where its regular event, Pesta di Barat, takes place. From the music platform, they began trying to activate online and offline activities for the development of hip-hop, R&B, and its subcultures. They move collectively and collaborate with other communities to produce collaborative work that aims to create regeneration and an ecosystem of hip-hop, R&B, and its subcultures.
