Ingatan tidak selalu hadir dalam bentuk cerita. Ia dapat tersimpan dalam foto, benda yang ditemukan, dan arsip keluarga yang menyimpan jejak dari masa lalu.

Bagi seniman visual dan peneliti yang berbasis di Yogyakarta ini, mengoleksi menjadi salah satu metode untuk menelusuri persimpangan antara ingatan, sejarah, dan identitas. Melalui fotografi, benda temuan, dan praktik pengarsipan, ia melihat materialitas sebagai tempat berbagai jejak sosial-politik terakumulasi. Saat ini, ia mengembangkan Unhistoried, proyek artistik dan riset berbasis arsip yang mengkaji fotografi vernakular, arsip keluarga, dan politik ingatan di Indonesia pada era Orde Baru.

For this visual artist and researcher based in Yogyakarta, collecting serves as a method for tracing the complex intersections of memory, history, and identity. Through photography, found objects, and archival practices, he approaches materiality as a site where various socio-political traces accumulate. He is currently developing Unhistoried, an archive-based artistic and research project examining vernacular photography, family archives, and the politics of memory in Indonesia during the New Order era.
